Our Field Technician Department provides our clients with Archaeological, Environmental and various field support services. With extensive industry experience, we work with collaborative partnerships that call on our experience, skills, and values. Our Field Technicians are guided by the principles of responsible land stewardship, cultural and heritage preservation.
Skilled, Competent and Knowledgeable
Our Field Technicians are trained in various essential competencies, including First Aid, Cultural and Environmental Courses, SVOP (small vessel operations permit), Swiftwater Rescue, RISC, and more.
Providing More than Captains
Katzie Development is able to provide boat rental services alongside our boat captains. Each captain is a permit carrier, as well as certified in a variety of marine safety requirements. Our captains have years of experience on the water, and are proud to have taken part of Aquatic Habitat Studies to support restoration programs.

Land Stewardship is Integral

Utilizing an ongoing education approach has enabled our crews to gain certifications as Drone Pilots, Ground Penetration Radar Specialists, Canoe Skills & Safety, Conflict Resolution Skills, and Ground Disturbance certificates.
